In November 2024, I co-founded Nauman & Willis with my longtime friend Jack Willis. Our independent publishing house was born out of a shared passion for ideas and a desire to bring overlooked, out-of-print, or underappreciated works back into the public conversation. Our mission is to champion books that challenge conventional thinking, provoke meaningful discussion, and offer fresh or forgotten insights into economics, politics, and the principles of a free and prosperous society.
Due to our small size, I have taken on a wide range of responsibilities, from editorial direction and research to layout design, digital production, and distribution strategy. I work closely with Jack and with individuals connected to the original content such as past collaborators, estates, or subject matter experts to ensure that each publication is both true to its original vision and accessible to modern readers. This collaborative approach allows us to preserve the integrity of the work while thoughtfully adapting it for contemporary audiences.
Our flagship release, The Incredible Bread Machine by R.W. Grant, exemplifies our goals: it’s an underground libertarian classic, recompiled with supplementary content for a new generation of readers. My work at Nauman & Willis is driven by a passion for ideas, independent thought, and the enduring power of the written word.
